The 2022 AHCA Joint Training for Skilled Nursing Facilities offers the unique opportunity for long-term care providers and state surveyors to hear from Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) leadership and other valued partners and providers. State and nationally-recognized long term care experts and providers will present current regulatory requirements and best practices for compliance and operations in the complex environment in a skilled nursing facility. Featured speakers include representatives from the AHCA Division of Health Quality Assurance, Adult Protective Services, OSHA, Alliant Health Solutions and providers currently active in Florida nursing homes. CONTINUING EDUCATION: This training is approved for six (6) hours of continuing education – FHCA Provider Number 50-720: Florida Board of Nursing Home Administrators, Florida Board of Nursing, Florida Board of Clinical Social Work and the Florida Board of Occupational Therapy. ONSITE INFORMATION: Registration begins at 7:00 a.m. and the program runs from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm ( lunch and breaks included ).

POLICIES: Pre-registration closes Wednesday, September 1 (or when the event is full, whichever comes first). All registrations after that date must be made onsite for an additional $50 fee.
*Registrations without payment will not be processed. Registrations cannot be taken by phone.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation and refund requests for registrations must be submitted in writing to eventsupport@fhca.org by September 1, 2022 to be eligible for a refund and are subject to a $50 cancellation fee. Requests received after September 1 will not be accepted unless cancellation is due to survey at your facility or emergency due to COVID-19. Cancellations due to a facility survey or emergency due to COVID-19 will still need to be submitted in writing to eventsupport@fhca.org as soon as possible and Event Organizers will refund your registration with exception of a $50 administrative fee. Please allow up to six (6) weeks, from the date of request, for all refunds to be issued. If you have any special dietary requests, please email eventsupport@fhca.org by September 1. We will do our best to accommodate.
