Engaging Residents in Community Development

Webinar

June’s Elder Conversation brings together resident and leadership perspectives from Village On The Isle to examine how resident feedback can directly influence community culture, services, and daily life. Centered around Village On The Isle’s comprehensive survey of independent living residents, the conversation will examine how direct feedback led to tangible operational and cultural changes across the organization.

Participants will hear from a resident about what contributes most to a meaningful life in community living, their experience participating in the survey process, and the impact of changes implemented in response to direct resident feedback. Community leadership will share how survey findings shaped organizational priorities, inspired new initiatives and long-term goals, and the operational and cultural shifts required to turn resident feedback into action.

Designed as a peer learning opportunity, this session highlights practical strategies for engaging residents as active partners in community development and creating environments that better reflect what matters most to those who live there.

This webinar is hosted by Florida Pioneer Network in conjunction with the Alabama Culture Change Coalition, L.E.A.D.E.R., and LeadingAge Southeast.
