5 Ways to Level Up Your Career

Thursday, May 7 at 2 PM ET

Learn strategies and tips for reaching your professional goals while avoiding common pitfalls during times of organizational transitions. This session will offer career coaching and advice to the audience. Based on her own research, including over 65 interviews with professionals unexpectedly terminated, and experience as an executive coach, Dr. Nancy King will share 5 practical and realistic  strategies for reaching your professional goals.  For example, she will touch on the need for competencies in emotional intelligence as a way to manage your self and others as well as ways to build executive presence.   In addition to these proactive steps, Dr. King will discuss warning signs that may indicate the need for an exit strategy.  As many organizations are in transition, the speaker will highlight the risks and opportunities found in these situations.  Last, during the session Nancy will deploy a few of her coaching exercises for the audience to try out as a means to gain greater clarity as to what their personal and professional objectives are.
