Webinar

How do we understand the world through the eyes of someone with dementia? How do we facilitate the best quality of life at every stage of the disease?

This presentation is based on the Cognitive Disabilities Model developed by Claudia Allen. It is an introductory presentation designed to provide a framework to understand the abilities that a person with dementia retains at each stage. In addition, it will provide each participant with tools to be able to be more successful in understanding the individual with dementia, allowing them to support appropriate modifications to maximize potential for safe, successful, and meaningful community living.
