Florida Gold Seal Award

The Gold Seal Program awards and recognizes nursing home facilities that demonstrate excellence in long-term care over a sustained period, promotes the stability of the industry and facilitates the physical, social, and emotional well-being of nursing home facility residents.

Facilities awarded the Gold Seal may use the designation in their advertising and marketing. The Gold Seal Award designation is also part of the Quality Incentive Component of the prospective payment system. Nursing homes who receive the Gold Seal Award could increase their Medicaid reimbursement.

Gold Seal applications are reviewed in two periods.
