Webinar

Elder Conversations are dynamic, resident-centered sessions centering the lived experience of residents. Join us for a candid conversation on purposeful engagement driven by residents - not programming calendars.

Featuring an interview with a resident actively involved in Penney Retirement Community’s Mobility Worldwide workshop, this webinar will explore what gives life meaning, why participation matters, and how person-directed living shows up day to day. Pull back the curtain on how Penney made it work, examining the policies, cultural shifts, leadership decisions, and environmental design choices that enabled residents to develop an enduring international affiliation and volunteer program manufacturing "Personal Energy Transportation" mobility devices for people in developing countries who are unable to walk.

Designed for senior living providers ready to move beyond “activities” toward authentic purpose and engagement, this session challenge assumptions, dives into resident priorities, and offers practical insights on how to implement meaningful, resident-led initiatives in community settings.

This webinar is hosted by Florida Pioneer Network in conjunction with the Alabama Culture Change Coalition, L.E.A.D.E.R., and LeadingAge Southeast.
