Doug brings 45+ years of successful experience in all aspects and at all levels of investment real estate acquisition, management and leasing, with a focus on Multifamily to you and your team. With over 35 years of experience in professional speaking and training, he has spent the last 18 years focusing on the development and delivery of synchronous and asynchronous training and transforming training and development from an event to an ongoing process. 

Moderator: Rhanda Mckown, Director of Affordable Housing | LeadingAge Southeast
Rhanda Mckown has served as the Director of Affordable Housing for LeadingAge Southeast since January of 2022. Her primary focus in this role is developing a robust housing education agenda, providing assistance and insight to members on housing issues, and contributing directly to the development and achievement of a housing advocacy agenda. Rhanda previously served as the Local Contract Specialist for the North Tampa Housing Development Corporation. She has nearly 20 years of experience in various aspects of the housing industry and spent the last 15 years conducting Management and Occupancy Reviews (MOR) under the Performance Based Contract Administration (PBCA) contract in Florida.

Rhanda's prior housing industry experience includes having served as Director of the Affordable Housing Study Commission (AHSC), a group appointed by Florida’s Governor to research a variety of timely housing topics and propose recommendations for implementation each year in a comprehensive annual report, as well as previously working at LeadingAge Florida which is where she originally began her housing career. Rhanda graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Florida State University and lives in Ocala with her daughter.

Registration Policy: Registration includes digital handouts and tools for each of the sessions, ONE connection to the live virtual trainings for ONE person, and instructions for receiving CE credit/attendance certificate for one person. Learners must attend the full session to be eligible for a Certificate of Attendance and pass the exam for Certificate of Mastery. Please note that a recording of this training is not included in the registration fee. 

Exam & Continuing Education Policy: There is an exam at the conclusion of this training. Attendees will receive a link to take or opt out of the exam within 24 hours after conclusion of the webinar. There is no additional cost to take the exam to show mastery and receive the Maintenance Certificate of Mastery.

Attendees will have 7 calendar days to complete the exam and submit their answers for scoring. A passing score of 70% is required to demonstrate mastery of the topics covered. If a learner fails to pass the exam, or does not complete the exam prior to the expiration of the 7 day time period, they will receive a certificate of attendance only.

Attendees who opt not to take the exam will be issued a Certificate of Attendance reflecting hours of instruction attended and necessary information for reporting continuing education hours.

Contact Hours
This program is approved for 1 hour of CE credit for assisted living & adult residential care administrators through the Florida Board of Nursing Home Administrators. Contact hours will be reported to CE Broker within 30 days of the program date for attendees licensed under Florida Boards. All attendees will receive a certificate reflecting hours earned for self-reporting continuing education to other boards and oversight agencies, per Exam and Registration policies.

Scholarships
The Scott Boord Career Development Scholarship Program gives members an opportunity to attend Aging Services programs and education events for those that otherwise would be unable to participate because of financial limitations. Cancellations/Refunds/Substitutions
There is a $50 administrative fee for each cancellation or refund. Substitutions will be accepted at no additional fee until registration closes. Due to costs incurred related to the program, no refunds will be issued after Tuesday, March 31, 2026. All cancellations and substitution requests must be submitted in writing to kmccloud@leadingagesoutheast.org.
