Webinar

Reduce your community’s risk of citations, fines, and follow-up enforcement actions in this focused review of adverse incident reporting requirements grounded in the issues most frequently cited during surveys. Attendees will learn how Florida defines an adverse incident in assisted living facilities, examine common reporting failures resulting in deficiencies, and gain actionable strategies to strengthen facility response and improve record accuracy.

  • Distinguish between incidents and adverse incidents with steps to identify which require immediate reporting or internal documentation only.
  • Review timelines, documentation standards, and notification requirements to ensure accurate and compliant adverse incident reporting.
  • Evaluate best practices for internal reporting and investigation processes to prevent common deficiencies and improve survey readiness.
