This focused Life Safety Code and Emergency Preparedness training is designed to strengthen your community's operations and readiness.

Hear from experts, including Florida's Agency for Health Care Administration, as they cover the top ten most cited K-Tags and E-Tags, provide federal and local regulatory updates, and dive into best practices for inspection schedules and equipment maintenance. Learn strategies for staffing and transportation during emergencies, approaches to maintaining operations during utility system disruptions, and take away practical risk assessment tools your team can use immediately.

  • Understand how federal and state regulatory developments may affect operational practices

Contact Hours
This program is approved for 3 hours of CE credit for Florida and Louisiana nursing home administrators and assisted living/adult residential care administrators. Contact hours will be reported to CE Broker within 30 days of the program date for attendees licensed under Florida Boards. All attendees may request a certificate reflecting hours earned for self-reporting continuing education to other boards and oversight agencies.

Scholarships
The Scott Boord Career Development Scholarship Program gives members an opportunity to attend Aging Services programs and education events for those that otherwise would be unable to participate because of financial limitations. Cancellations/Refunds/Substitutions
There is a $50 administrative fee for each cancellation or refund. Substitutions will be accepted at no additional fee. Due to costs incurred related to the program, no refunds will be issued after Friday, May 8, 2026. All cancellations and substitution requests must be submitted in writing to kmccloud@leadingagesoutheast.org.
