an important opportunity to meet with your state legislators and
advocate for the issues that matter the most to you and your residents!
Why is Grassroots Advocacy So Important? Legislators
need to hear from you so they understand, promote, and protect the
programs and services your communities provide for Florida’s seniors.
Your credibility as an industry expert and as a provider makes you an
ideal advocate for your community and the seniors you serve.
Legislators listen to constituents, because they answer to them! This
event will give you the opportunity to speak with lawmakers while they
are making critical decisions about the state
budget, long-term care, and senior housing. By telling them your
story, you can personalize the issues and influence the outcome of
pending legislation. Legislators need to hear from you so services and
programs for senior Floridians are treated fairly.
As a provider, your credibility makes you the perfect expert
advocate for your community and the elders you serve. Your attendance is
needed to make LeadingAge Southeast’s unified voice heard loud and clear.

Scholarships Available
The
Scott Boord Career Development Scholarship Program gives members an
opportunity to attend aging services programs and education events for
those that otherwise would be unable to participate because
of financial limitations. Scholarships are awarded to members who
meet certain criteria. To find the guidelines and application, please

Contact Hours
LeadingAge Southeast has applied for up to 3 contact
hours of credit for nursing home administrators, nurses, assisted
living administrators, and social workers licensed in Florida. Hotel Reservations
Specific
information regarding booking your hotel room will be sent upon
confirmation of your registration. LeadingAge Southeast has a block of
rooms reserved at a special rate of $214/night. Please reserve your room
by January 5, 2026. Hotel Parking
Guaranteed Self-Parking rate of $18/night in the hotel's parking garage.
Cancellations/Refunds/Substitutions
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to LeadingAge
Southeast. A $50 administrative fee will be charged for each cancellation.
No refunds will be issued after December 5, 2025. Substitutions will be accepted at no additional
fee.
