THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2025 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. ET/1 p.m. - 2 p.m. CT Webinar Stress and burnout are pervasive in healthcare and can be difficult to treat if left unrecognized. Fortunately, there are many ways that job stress and burnout can be mitigated and avoided allowing a restoration of work-life balance. Those who work with older adults with complex social and/or medical needs can be particularly vulnerable to compassion fatigue, a specific type of burnout which is characterized by a reduced sense of compassion and empathy for patients. Compassion fatigue results from continuous re-exposure to emotionally exhausting experiences. This presentation is geared for professionals who are experiencing stress and burnout or supervising persons who are at risk. The seven key areas of wellness will be discussed with practical strategies for each to achieve an improved sense of peace.
